Sales report of main products in the construction machinery industry in September 2023

Excavator

According to statistics from major excavator manufacturers of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 14,283 excavators of various types were sold in September 2023, a year-on-year decrease of 32.6%, of which 6,263 were domestic units, a year-on-year decrease of 40.5%; and 8,020 were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 24.8%.

From January to September 2023, a total of 148,812 excavators were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 25.7%; of which 68,075 were domestic, a year-on-year decrease of 43.3%; and 80,737 were exported, a year-on-year increase of 0.54%.

Loader

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major loader manufacturing companies, 7,689 loaders of various types were sold in September 2023, a year-on-year decrease of 20.5%. Among them, 4,237 units were sold in the domestic market, a year-on-year decrease of 24.2%; export sales were 3,452 units, a year-on-year decrease of 15.4%.

From January to September 2023, a total of 78,104 loaders of various types were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 15%. Among them, the domestic market sales were 41,414 units, a year-on-year decrease of 30.2%; the export sales were 36,690 units, a year-on-year increase of 12.7%.

A total of 2,100 electric loaders were sold from January to September 2023 (8 3-ton units, 1,602 5-ton units, 490 6-ton units), of which 435 units were sold in September.
