Recently, the 440C stainless steel ultra-thin Section bearings with uniform cross-section, customized and manufactured by TKW for its customers, have passed the rigorous testing and actual working condition verification by the customers. All performance indicators have met the standards, and the bearings have been successfully accepted and put into use.


The delivered products are all ultra-thin-walled bearings with an outer diameter of 300mm or less and uniform cross-section. Product specifications are as follows:


Material: 440C high-carbon martensitic stainless steel (9Cr18Mo), vacuum quenched and tempered + ultra-deep cryogenic treatment, stable hardness HRC58-62


Precision Grade: P5, P4 (upgradeable to P2 upon request), meeting the stringent rotational requirements of precision equipment


Structure: Uniform cross-section thin-walled design, with uniform inner and outer ring wall thickness and constant cross-section, achieving miniaturization and lightweighting


Cage: Standard 304/316L stainless steel crown cage, PEEK/PTFE optional, suitable for different operating conditions


Rolling Elements: 440C stainless steel balls / high-purity silicon nitride ceramic balls (Si₃N₄), balancing wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and high-speed stability.

1. Ultra-thin and Lightweight, Adaptable to Extreme Installation Spaces

Utilizing a uniform cross-section thin-walled structure, the cross-section is extremely thin and the dimensions are constant. Compared to standard bearings of the same inner diameter, the weight is reduced by more than 50%, and radial space is saved by 40%, perfectly adapting to precision mechanisms with limited space.


2. Made of 440C stainless steel, corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant.

High hardness and wear resistance: HRC58-62, wear resistance comparable to high-end bearing steel, suitable for high-speed, continuous operation.

Strong corrosion resistance: Resistant to moisture, salt spray, and various chemical media; can operate stably in a wide temperature range of -40℃ to 150℃, unaffected by harsh environments.

Clean and safe: Non-toxic material with no leaching, suitable for food and medical aseptic conditions, supports high-temperature sterilization.


3. P4/P5 grade high precision, smooth and low-noise operation

High rotational accuracy: P4 grade precision meets the requirements of high-speed precision equipment (such as semiconductor equipment, precision turntables), with runout error controlled within the micrometer level.


Low friction and low noise: Optimized raceway and steel ball matching design results in low frictional torque and low inertia, ensuring smooth and noiseless high-speed operation.


High rigidity and anti-overturning: The uniform cross-section structure has high rigidity and can simultaneously withstand radial, axial, and overturning moments, adapting to complex stress conditions.


4. High reliability, suitable for long-term continuous operation. It adopts precision stamping/solid machining retainer + enhanced heat treatment process, which is resistant to deformation and aging. It can operate without failure for a long time in high-speed, vibration and clean environment, with long maintenance cycle and low overall cost.
