Four-point contact ball bearings with seals or shields can accommodate radial, axial and moment loads simultaneously. One bearing series is based on a single cross section which remains constant as the bore diameter increases, leading to significant space and weight savings. The integral sealing can significantly prolong bearing service life because it keeps lubricant in the bearings and contaminants out. The bearings are available with metric and inch boundary dimensions.

Thin section bearings can be deep groove ball bearings (C), four-point contact bearings (X), angular contact ball bearings (E). The above various designs are provided in different series.
Which design to use depends on the size of the cross section. The ball matches the series. Deep groove ball bearings can support bidirectional axial load and radial load. Four-point contact bearings can support bidirectional axial loads as well as radial loads; therefore, they operate in the same way as double row angular contact ball bearings.
Angular contact ball bearings can match the optimal number of balls and their contact angle is 30°. They support higher radial load than deep groove ball bearings or four-point contact bearings, and can support axial loads originating from the same direction. For special needs, angular contact ball bearings can also be provided as matching bearings. Therefore, the rigidity and load carrying capacity of these combinations are much higher than single bearing products.
Thin section sealed bearings
Sealed bearings offer integral sealed and integral shielded bearings, providing a very compact overall design with the additional advantage of protecting the bearing before, during and after installation.
Stainless steel thin section bearings
stainless steel bearings are used where high precision and corrosion resistance are required. AISI 440C stainless steel thin section bearings minimize the surface degradation and particulate formation so common to harsh environment applications.
