Thin Section Bearings are a type of extra thin section bearings. Their most prominent feature is that the inner and outer ring cross sections are standard squares with completely consistent cross-sectional dimensions, uniform overall wall thickness, and a lightweight and compact structure.Bearings are mainly composed of four basic components: inner ring, outer ring, rolling steel balls, and cage. The overall design is simplified, effectively saving installation space.Based on the raceway structure, they can be divided into three main types: deep groove ball, angular contact, and four-point contact. Most of them adopt an open design, which makes it easy to add grease. Its cage is usually made of nylon or brass, which can evenly separate the steel balls and reduce operating friction and noise.
The common sealing method for thin Section Bearings is double-sided rubber seal. The seal is installed between the inner and outer rings of the bearing, and protection is achieved through contact and mating. This structure can prevent dust and moisture from entering, while locking in the internal lubricating grease. Different sealing configurations are selected for different working conditions. The standard model is suitable for most dry and low-corrosion environments, and the sealing gap is set uniformly according to specifications. The sealing assembly condition is inspected at the factory to ensure that the assembly dimensions are compliant and the sealing function is stable.
Thin Section Bearings provide a uniform load distribution during dynamic operation, making them suitable for medium- and high-speed, medium- and small-scale alternating load conditions.P4 and P5 levels correspond to different rotational runout limits, and the vibration amplitude is controllable during high-speed operation. The rolling elements and raceways maintain stable contact, resulting in low frictional loss and a gradual temperature rise during continuous operation. The internal lubricating film can be maintained intact under dynamic pressure, effectively preventing dry friction. There are no obvious shocks or abnormal noises during start-up, shutdown, and speed change. The dynamic response is stable and it can maintain operating accuracy for a long time, making it suitable for various transmission mechanisms for continuous operation.
