The EPB60-47 bearing is a P4 precision hybrid ceramic deep groove ball bearing, suitable for high-power variable frequency servo motors and CNC spindle equipment.Ceramic (Si4N3) ball bearings can isolate shaft current and avoid bearing electrolytic corrosion. They are also lighter and achieve high speed and low heat rise. Their stability under high frequency start-stop conditions is better than that of all-steel bearings. However, its production cost is higher than that of steel bearings, and it is not suitable for environments with strong corrosion or extreme heavy loads.

The materials used in different parts of a servo motor bearing vary. We will introduce the materials of each part of the servo motor bearing by component. For the raceway and rolling elements, high carbon chromium steel is generally used. Most bearings use SUJ2 steel, a JIS standard, while large bearings use SUJ3.For applications requiring impact resistance, chromium steel, chromium-molybdenum steel, or nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel can be used, with carburizing and quenching treatment. In addition, there are special materials such as stainless steel, ceramic materials and high-speed steel. The cage is made of materials such as cold-rolled steel, brass plate, stainless steel plate, carbon steel, and synthetic resin. It should be noted that polyamide cages should not be used in environments with temperatures above 120 degrees Celsius or below -40 degrees Celsius, nor are they suitable for vacuum environments.Brass cages should not be used in environments with temperatures exceeding 300 degrees Celsius or in ammonia environments. The most commonly used bearing steel material on the market is GCR15.We have introduced several commonly used materials for servo motor bearings, but the selection of materials should be determined based on the specific application scenario and performance requirements.
Servo motor bearings, with their graded precision specifications, are suitable for a variety of industrial applications. For conventional automated equipment such as packaging machinery and ordinary conveyor production lines, basic precision bearings can be selected to ensure stable operation while reasonably controlling costs.Equipment such as CNC machine tools, 3D printers, and industrial robots have higher requirements for motion precision and response speed, so they are equipped with precision bearings to ensure accurate movements and smooth operation. In ultra-precision fields such as semiconductor equipment and high-end optical inspection instruments, top-precision bearings are selected to easily meet the stringent control requirements at the micron level.
