The materials for each component of thin Section Bearings are selected according to the application scenario.For mainstream all-steel products, the bearing rings and rolling elements are made of high-carbon chromium bearing steel, which is the mainstream material for general working conditions.The entire set of operating parts in the corrosion-resistant category is made of stainless steel, which can resist the effects of moisture and corrosive media.Composite material products use bearing steel to make the bearing rings and are equipped with ceramic rolling elements to meet the requirements of high-speed operation.Cages are divided into two types: nylon and brass. Nylon is mostly used for conventional working conditions, while brass is suitable for high-speed and high-temperature environments. The choice of material for each type is adjusted according to the working conditions.
The mainstream precision grades for Thin Section Bearings are P4 and P5.The inner diameter, outer diameter, and width tolerances of P5 grade bearings are within the normal range, and the raceway form and position deviations, radial and axial run-outs meet general usage requirements.P4 grade is a high-precision specification with narrower dimensional tolerances, higher raceway geometric accuracy, and significantly reduced radial and axial run-out.The two grades of parameters are clearly defined, and all accuracy indicators are implemented in accordance with the specifications, ensuring a high degree of uniformity in the accuracy performance of bearings of the same grade.
