Solid Oil Needle Roller Bearings IKO

Instead of using standard grease lubrication, the Needle Roller Bearings feature an oil-filled polymer matrix. This technology, known as "Solid Oil," is particularly well suited for bearings used in locations where they may be heavily exposed to dirt, dust and water.

Needle Roller Bearings filled with solid oil contain two to four times more lubricant than bearings filled with conventional grease. Solid oil cannot be washed out and fills virtually any remaining space, thus limiting the amount of dirt and contaminants that can enter the bearing. The polymer fill fully supports the integral seal, enhancing its effectiveness in washdown conditions.

Solid oil Needle Roller Bearings are suitable for applications with high humidity and occasional contact with water and other contaminants. Bearings using solid oil are lubricated for life and cannot be relubricated. They are particularly suitable for bearings used in places where they may be severely exposed to dirt, dust and water.
