The SS7005 CD/HCP4 precision angular contact bearing is a P4 ultra-high precision bearing. The inner and outer rings are made of 440C martensitic stainless steel, and the rolling elements are silicon nitride Si3N4 ceramic balls. It adopts a full-ball cageless structure and is a hybrid ceramic precision bearing that combines high load capacity, high precision, corrosion resistance, insulation and anti-electrolytic corrosion.

Conventional caged bearings are limited by the cage in terms of the number of balls that can be loaded. This full-ball design can accommodate more rolling elements in the same installation space, resulting in a significantly increased rated load and greater rigidity. The 440C stainless steel bushing combines high hardness with excellent rust and corrosion resistance. The silicon nitride ceramic ball has low density, good insulation and self-lubrication. Combined with P4-level precision grinding, the rotational accuracy, end face run-out and dimensional tolerance meet the precision spindle level standard. It is suitable for various harsh working conditions such as clean, corrosive, vacuum and frequency conversion motors that are prone to electrolytic corrosion.

P4 ultra-precision grade, with strict control over raceway, inner and outer ring dimensions and geometric tolerances, low end face runout and low operating noise, suitable for precision rotary mechanisms that require precise positioning and slight axial movement, and supports DB/DF pairing pre-tightening installation.

440C stainless steel ferrule, corrosion resistant and rust resistant

After heat treatment at 440°C, the bearing has high hardness and is resistant to water vapor, salt spray, and weak acid and alkali media. It is not easy to rust and, unlike ordinary chromium steel bearings, can be used in clean, humid, and corrosive environments.

Silicon nitride ceramic balls: insulating and low-heat generation.

Si₃N₄ ceramic balls are insulating and non-conductive, eliminating electrical erosion (EDM discharge damage) in variable frequency motors and servo spindles. Ceramic balls are lightweight, have less centrifugal force, a lower coefficient of friction, lower temperature rise at high speeds, and a longer wear life than all-stainless steel balls.

Full-sphere structure, high load-bearing capacity and high rigidity

Without a cage, the rolling element filling is maximized, significantly improving radial and axial load capacity and structural rigidity, making it suitable for medium- and high-speed equipment that continuously bears complex loads. It has a compact structure and does not take up extra installation space.

Clean and low dust generation, suitable for vacuum environments

The material has low precipitation and low outgassing, and generates few particulate matter. It can be used with vacuum-specific solid lubricants or perfluoropolyether greases to meet the cleanliness requirements of semiconductor and vacuum equipment.

Industry application scenarios

1. Semiconductor vacuum equipment

Wafer inspection platform, vacuum chamber rotation mechanism, vacuum robot, optical inspection turntable.

Operating conditions: vacuum, clean and dust-free environment, trace amounts of corrosive gases, requiring low out-gassing, low dust, and high-precision positioning to prevent bearing corrosion and metal discharge.

2. Precision servo and variable frequency high-speed motors

Small high-speed servo spindle, vacuum pump motor, miniature high-speed rotary spindle.

Pain point: The shaft current generated by the frequency converter can easily break down the raceway of ordinary bearings, while the insulation properties of ceramic balls directly avoid electrolytic erosion damage; P4 precision ensures rotor rotation accuracy, and the full-sphere structure supports composite loads.

3. Precision medical instruments

High-speed dental hand-pieces, rotating components for medical testing, and medical transmission mechanisms that can be repeatedly sterilized at high temperatures.

Advantages: 440C resistance to disinfectant corrosion, can withstand multiple high temperature and high pressure sterilizations; ceramic balls are wear-resistant, clean and pollution-free, meeting medical and health requirements.

4. Food and Fine Chemical Equipment

Bearing positions for rotary mechanisms in food washing lines, chemical micro-pumps, and pumps for transporting weakly corrosive media.

Advantages: Resistant to cleaning, acid and alkali spraying, not easily corroded in salt spray environment, ceramic rolling elements have strong chemical inertness and are not corroded by the medium.

5. Optical and Precision Automation Equipment

Optical lens turntable, precision rotary table, robot joint, and rotary unit for testing instruments.

Requirements: High positioning accuracy, low runout, long-term stable operation, full-sphere high rigidity to ensure no deformation under load, and maintain the measurement accuracy of the equipment.

6. Precision equipment for marine and salt spray environments

Small marine testing instruments and seawater sampling equipment can resist salt spray and water vapor corrosion, and solve the problems of rapid rusting and pitting failure of ordinary bearings.

Application conditions: Full-ball structures are not suitable for extremely high-speed applications (without a cage to limit ball collisions). They are preferred for medium-to-high speed, high-load, corrosive/vacuum/anti-electro-erosion applications. For continuous ultra-high speed applications, it is recommended to choose the version with a PEEK cage. We can match and customize lubrication solutions according to customer needs (vacuum dry lubrication, PFPE grease, high temperature grease), and provide sample testing.
