the CA cage design of spherical roller bearing was developed in 1950s,the spherical roller bearing CA have solid machined cage and enhanced Symmetrical rollers,compared with CC structure,CA design adopted high tensile strength brass cage,it has a certain self-lubricating properties,and allow a certain degree of plastic deformation,under the current restrictions mold process conditions,CA cage its better than CC design in the case of low noise requirements. meanwhile,CA cage take more internal space of spherical roller bearing,so the dimension of the elements and quantity would be effected,thereby reducing the possibility of further increase its radial load capacity.
According to ISO standard,the CA cage design can be replace the CC cage if the basic conditions (load rating,limiting speed,Operation Temperature,noise vibration) coincide with design structure limit.in fact the spherical roller bearing service life,in addition to bearing own quality assurance,the bearing type choice and bearing installation,use,maintenance is also affect the performance of the spherical roller bearing.
