Four-point Contact Structure KA-XP0 Series Open Thin Section Bearings Carry Lightweight Multi Directional Load

The KA-XP0 series bearings are uniform cross-section bearings with a cross-section of 6.35*6.35mm. They are four-point contact open-type sealless bearings with a single row of steel balls. A single bearing can simultaneously bear radial load, bidirectional axial load, and overturning moment combined load. It is commonly used in industrial robot joints, precision rotary tables, semiconductor equipment and other fields.

Technical information.

Thin Section Bearings are extra thin section bearings, with square cross-sections for both inner and outer rings, and the cross-sectional dimensions are consistent. The whole is composed of an inner ring, an outer ring, rolling elements, and a retaining structure. Based on the raceway form, there are three types of structures: deep groove ball, angular contact, and four-point contact, most of which are open designs. Cages are used to separate and hold rolling elements in place. The angular contact structure has a fixed contact angle and can withstand radial and unidirectional axial loads; the four-point contact structure can withstand bidirectional axial loads. The bearings have uniform wall thickness, compact shape, small installation space, and are suitable for various precision automated equipment.

The mainstream material of thin section bearing rings and steel balls is GCr15 bearing steel, which has high hardness and excellent wear resistance after heat treatment. Corrosion usage scenarios are made of 440C stainless steel, which has strong anti-rust ability and can meet the needs of humid and medium-containing working environments. The material selection of rolling elements and rings should be consistent to ensure that the materials of friction pairs are uniform. Cages are divided into two categories: brass and engineering plastics. The brass material is wear-resistant and not easy to deform, while the plastic material is light in weight and has low operating noise. The thermal expansion coefficients of all supporting materials are compatible with each other and adapt to the thin-walled structure of the bearing to ensure stable operation of the bearing.
