Thin Section Bearings are a type of extra thin section bearings. Their most prominent feature is that the inner and outer ring cross sections are standard squares with completely consistent cross-sectional dimensions, uniform overall wall thickness, and a lightweight and compact structure.Bearings are mainly composed of four basic components: inner ring, outer ring, rolling steel balls, and cage. The overall design is simplified, effectively saving installation space.Based on the raceway structure, they can be divided into three main types: deep groove ball, angular contact, and four-point contact. Most of them adopt an open design, which makes it easy to add grease.
Thin Section Bearings are suitable for medium and small loads and medium and high speed operating conditions, covering a wide range of industrial and civil equipment. In the industrial sector, it is mainly used to support servo motors, stepper motors, automated transmission modules, testing instruments, and small conveying mechanisms; in the light industry sector, it is used for fans, water pumps, and drive components for home appliances. The P5 precision model is suitable for conventional transmission equipment, while the P4 high-precision model is mostly used in robot joints, precision instruments, and other structures with stringent requirements for rotational accuracy.
The mass production of thin Section Bearings adopts a full-process quality control system, with inspection covering parts processing, assembly and finished product delivery. After components such as raceways and rolling elements are processed, their dimensional tolerances, roundness, cylindricity, and other geometrical indicators are inspected, and they are classified into P4 and P5 accuracy grades according to standards.During the assembly stage, process inspections are set up to control the fit clearance. After the finished product is greased and sealed, the rotation accuracy, operating noise and flexibility are sampled and tested according to the standard ratio. Some batches will have samples taken for short-term durability testing.
